Stephen Matthew Grachanin was born in Youngstown, Ohio in 1981 and was raised in Campbell, Ohio.  He graduated Valedictorian from Campbell Memorial High School in 1999 and sought higher education at the University of Akron.  Upon admittance to the University of Akron, he was awarded the Ohio Board of Regents Scholarship for Academic Excellence, the Purnell-Fort Scholarship, and the Wilson, Ross & Helena Scholarship.

 

Mr. Grachanin first joined Perantinides & Nolan Co., L.P.A. in February 2000 as a law clerk.  He went on to graduate as Summa Cum Laude from the University of Akron in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts where he majored in political science and minored in pre-law and professional writing.  During his undergraduate studies, he was named to the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, the Golden Key International Society, the National Dean’s List and the University of Akron Dean’s List.   He also earned the Ohio Board of Regents Scholarship for Academic Excellence. Mr. Grachanin received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Akron School of Law in 2008.  He is currently licensed to practice law in Ohio.

 

At Perantinides & Nolan Co., L.P.A., Mr. Grachanin’s practice areas include personal injury, medical malpractice, premises liability, products liability, intentional torts, and probate work.

 

Aside from his law practice, Mr. Grachanin is a member of the American and Ohio State Bar Associations.  He is also a member of the Akron Bar Association where he serves on the Lawyers’ Assistance Committee.

 

He is married to the former Angela Mullis of Diamond, Ohio and has two children.
